The Cass County Sheriff’s Department would like to invite the residents of Cass County to be part of a free network of businesses, schools, and others in the community who are sharing information about crime. This project is called "Cass Alert". If you have an email account or have internet access through school, business, or any other internet access, you are invited to join the network. Not only will this network share information about crime, it will also share general information published occasionally from the department. Some of the types of information to be shared are: weekly crime reports, a weekly warrant list, and public announcements.

Cass County Sheriff’s Department is making a special effort to involve as many of our residents who have access to the internet as possible. If we can notify you quickly about a crime trend that may affect you, you have a better opportunity to take measures to protect yourself, your home, your property, and/or your business. You may even be able to help us identify and apprehend a criminal or locate a missing person.
